Technical SEO audit
Crawlability, indexation, duplicate content, redirect chains, canonical handling and Core Web Vitals — the foundations that decide whether good content ever gets a chance.

Search is no longer only ten blue links. Your customers ask Google, and increasingly they ask an AI assistant that summarises an answer without ever sending a click. We build for both — technical foundations that rank, and content specific enough to get cited. That is what our WordPress SEO work is built to fix.

The problem
Type the company name and you are first. Type what you actually sell and you are nowhere. The site was built to describe the business rather than to answer what customers search for.
A blog post every week for two years and organic traffic is flat. Individually reasonable posts, connected to nothing, competing with each other and never building authority on any single topic.
A gradual decline nobody noticed until it was significant. It could be a core update, a migration that lost redirects, or content that slowly went stale — and without measurement you are guessing.
People ask an assistant instead of searching, get an answer, and never reach your site. If your pages have nothing specific and quotable, you are invisible in exactly the place buying decisions are increasingly made.
What we do
Crawlability, indexation, duplicate content, redirect chains, canonical handling and Core Web Vitals — the foundations that decide whether good content ever gets a chance.
URL structure, navigation and internal linking designed so authority flows to the pages that matter commercially, and so both crawlers and humans can find everything.
Organization, Service, Article, FAQ and Breadcrumb schema implemented correctly and matching the visible page — which is what makes rich results and AI citation possible.
Topic clusters rather than isolated posts: a pillar page for each theme, supporting articles that link inward, and a plan for what to write in what order.
Structuring content so assistants can extract and cite it — direct answers, specific facts and figures, clear question-and-answer formats, and entity clarity about who you are.
Rankings, organic traffic, conversions and now AI referrals tracked together, so you can see what is working rather than what merely feels busy.
How it works
Technical health, current rankings and what the site is genuinely capable of.
URL structure, internal linking and schema fixed before writing anything.
Topic clusters mapped to what customers actually search and ask.
Technical fixes shipped in priority order, largest impact first.
Content produced against the plan, on a cadence you can sustain.
Rankings, traffic, conversions and AI citations reviewed monthly.
Results

Hammock Homes
A residential care provider needed to be found in eight specific cities. The usual approach — one template with the city name swapped in — is exactly the pattern search engines have spent years learning to discount. Built eight city landing pages, each written for its own place rather than generated from a variable, inside the site's existing design system so nothing looked bolted on.

EcoSafe Pest Control
A licensed, family-owned Melbourne operator competing against national brands for people searching by pest and suburb. Nobody browses for pest control; they search once and call. Built the site to match how that search happens — each common pest with its own page, coverage and licensing stated plainly, and a free quote as the single action on every one of them.
Capabilities
Engagement
Fixed fee
A technical and content audit with a prioritised action list — what is broken, what is holding you back, and what to fix in what order. Useful whether or not you continue with us.
Fixed price after audit
Technical fixes implemented, architecture rebuilt, schema deployed and the first cluster of content produced — a foundation your team can then publish onto.
Monthly
Continuous content production, technical monitoring, and adaptation as search and AI assistants change what they reward. SEO is a compounding activity, not a project.
Cost
The engagement shapes above say how the work is bought. This is the other half: why SEO proposals for similar WordPress sites vary so widely, and how to tell a difference in scope from a difference in padding.
Indexing faults, redirect chains, duplicate content and broken structured data have to be fixed before content can do its job. A clean site starts on content in week one; a neglected one spends the first month on foundations.
Auditing forty URLs is a morning. Auditing forty thousand, with faceted navigation and parameter URLs, is a crawl-budget project in its own right. Site size changes the method, not just the hours.
Fixing and improving what already exists is cheaper than filling gaps with new pages. The number of genuinely new pieces a strategy calls for is usually the largest line in an SEO budget, and the one most worth questioning.
Ranking for a local service term and ranking for a national commercial term are different undertakings. The competition sets how much content depth and how many links are needed, and no amount of on-page work changes that arithmetic.
A site that lost rankings in a past migration or redesign often has old URLs, lost links and confused signals to recover first. That archaeology is real work, and it is invisible until someone looks at the history.
Questions
If your WordPress SEO question is not covered here, send us the details and we will reply with a straight answer.
Technical fixes can show within weeks, because you are removing things actively holding the site back. Content and authority take longer — typically three to six months before a new cluster performs, and longer in competitive markets. Anyone promising rankings in thirty days is either misunderstanding the work or misrepresenting it.
Both are available. Some clients want the strategy, the briefs and the architecture, then use their own writers who know the product. Others want us to produce everything. The plan is worth more than the words — content without a structure behind it is why so many blogs publish constantly and go nowhere.
It is structuring content so assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can extract and cite it. In practice that means direct answers rather than long preambles, specific facts and figures rather than adjectives, clear question-and-answer formats, and accurate structured data. It matters now because those tools already answer commercial questions without sending a click, and the pages they cite are the ones written to be quotable.
No, and nobody credible can. Rankings depend on competitors, on algorithm changes and on factors outside anyone’s control. What we can commit to is the work: technical foundations fixed, architecture that supports the pages that matter, content built to a plan, and honest monthly reporting on what moved and what did not.
Not the kind you buy. Paid link schemes carry real penalty risk and the results do not last. We focus on earning links through content genuinely worth citing, digital PR where it fits, and fixing the internal linking most sites neglect — which is free, entirely within your control, and frequently the fastest available win.
Technical work removes ceilings; it does not create demand. If pages cannot be crawled, load slowly or duplicate each other, no amount of content will perform. But once those are fixed, the constraint becomes the content. That is why we audit first and are honest about which of the two is actually your bottleneck.
Technical foundations first — indexing, crawlability, canonicals, redirects, Core Web Vitals — then content that answers the questions people actually search. Fixing content while a noindex tag is live changes nothing.
The platform itself is documented at wordpress.org.
No, and nobody honest can. What we can do is remove the technical reasons you are not ranking and build content that deserves to.
