The terms that apply to using this website. The contract for actual project work is a separate signed agreement.
Draft — not yet reviewed. This is a working skeleton written to the right structure, not legal advice. Every highlighted value needs filling in, and the whole document should be checked by a lawyer in your jurisdiction before you publish it.
These terms govern your use of the dotance.com website. They are not the contract for any work we do for you — that is set out separately in a written proposal and agreement signed by both parties. Where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
The site is operated by add registered company name, registered at add registered address.
You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own purposes. You may not:
The design, code, text and images on this site belong to us or to our clients, and are protected by copyright. Client work shown in our portfolio remains the property of those clients and appears with their permission.
WordPress, WooCommerce and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless a page explicitly says so.
Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Prices, timelines and engagement models described here are indicative, and any quote we send becomes binding only once both sides sign an agreement.
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige either of us to proceed. Please do not send confidential information through the enquiry form — wait until we have an agreement in place.
Case study figures describe what happened on specific projects under specific conditions. They are not a prediction of what will happen on yours, and we do not present them as a guarantee. Search rankings and performance depend on factors outside anyone’s control.
Where we link to other sites, we do so because we think they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your data.
We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or continuously available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ask your lawyer whether a liability cap is appropriate here, and what wording your jurisdiction requires.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
These terms are governed by the laws of add jurisdiction, e.g. England and Wales, and the courts of add jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
