For writers, and for the margin.
Marginalia
A block theme for essayists and anyone whose site is mostly words: notes in the margin beside the sentence that prompted them, and an archive that reads like the contents of a book.
- Sidenotes in the margin, with an honest fallback on a phone
- An index archive that needs no featured images
- Four style variations that change the type, not just the colours
Also free
For consultants who take bookings.
Consultation Booking
An Elementor theme for coaches, advisers and consultancy firms: five ready-made pages and a booking popup powered by the free Bookance plugin.
- Two home pages plus Services, About and Book & Contact
- Booking button and phone booking bar that open the Bookance popup
- Two colour schemes, custom colours and a scheme per page
Questions
Questions about our WordPress themes.
Questions about a theme built for your own business are covered on our design services pages.
Are the themes really free?
Yes. They are GPL-licensed and complete: no paid version holding back features, no licence key and no upgrade notices in your dashboard.
Do I need a page builder?
The themes work on their own with the block editor. The ready-made pages use free Elementor and our free Elemance plugin, so you only need those if you want the designed pages.
Will they be on WordPress.org?
That is the plan. A theme can only recommend plugins that are in the WordPress.org directory, so each theme is submitted once the plugins it pairs with are listed there.
Can you set a theme up for us?
Yes. We can install and configure a theme, add your content and branding, and connect the booking or other plugins it uses. See our theme setup and customization service.
