Effective Date: 21 march 2024
At Dotance (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we aim to deliver high-quality website design, maintenance, and WordPress-related services. This Refund Policy sets out the terms for when refunds may or may not be granted.
Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, except in cases where we fail to deliver the agreed scope of work.
All clients are advised to review proposals, project scopes, and agreements carefully before making payments.
For projects requiring 50% advance payment, the advance is non-refundable once work begins.
For projects requiring 100% advance payment, a partial refund may be considered only if no work has started at the time of cancellation.
A refund may be issued only if:
We are unable to deliver the agreed scope of work as per the written agreement, and no mutually acceptable resolution can be reached.
A significant delay is caused solely by us, and both parties agree to terminate the project.
No refunds will be issued if:
The client changes their mind after work has started
Delays occur due to the client (e.g., late content submissions, delayed approvals)
The delivered work meets the agreed specifications, but the client has subjective dissatisfaction
Issues arise from third-party tools, hosting providers, or plugins beyond our control
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email, including the reason for the request.
Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days through the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
